Hedge Laying and Pest control are, dying skills that can be traced back over many decades. Nomad Environmental has a wealth of over thirty years of experience that we use, but we are always learning. We believe that the only way these skills can be around for future generations to come, is if people who say they care for the Environment actually show they care. This needs long term investment, but short term profits seem more important to most land owners. We all need to work together to find a happy balance that works for us all. Nomad Environmental invests a lot of time and effort into training people in both Pest Control and Hedge Laying. We have given customers basic lessons in Hedge Laying and, we have taught customers how to catch Moles/ Rabbits/ Squirrels/ Foxes/  Rats/ Mice / Mink. When it comes to Pest control this method proves to be very popular, as after the initial outlay for the set up which includes Nomad setting up the job, showing the customer the best method and providing all the strarting materials required, any other problems can normaly be sorted with a quick phone call or  an e-mail.

Appart from using a chain saw, Hedge Laying hasnt changed much in hundreds of years, we lay the midland style because it is the best style for the area we work in. There are several main styles all suited for the climate of there own areas. Pest control has changed however, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. We practice both modern and traditional Pest control to keep up with the ever changing environment. From the use of modern chemicals/ Infered cctv/ Mini cctv/ Long Nets/ Ferrets/ Lamping/ Snares/ Drop traps/ Cage traps/ Sonics / Air rifles as well s a whole list of other methods, we use whatever is best for the situation.
